Does racism exist today?

Now I had an interesting conversation with a dear friend whose name will be anonymous and we both mutually agreed, no matter what era we are are in, in every culture, race group racism will always remain. 

Its actually about talking to one another to set them stereotypes in order, to learn off one another and open your minds Now you tell me why is it so darn hard to open one’s mind?
I today, am still trying to understand the grasp of racism, I naively believed that racism has left, but it is the people who discreetly disregard any race and their culture in addition to traditions. 
My readers, what I’m saying is, SPEAK, it does not kill you to speak to one another to UNDERSTAND why people do things and why it is in their culture to do so. 

WE ARE ALL HUMANS, HUMANITY SHOULD BE SHOWN AT ITS BEST. 
So why are there such things as dissatisfaction of where you are from? Yes i know, I will be told it is due to individual differences today, them differences define who we are, I would say embrace it unless this harms another human.
